1) What is the scientific method?
The scientific method is the process in which an idea or theory is put into action.

2) Why do psychologists use this method?
Psychologists use the scientific method to prove or reject their theoric ideas. Also, it is an organized step by step procedures, which would be easier than have no guidance what so ever.

3) Do you think that psychology is a science? -explain.
From my point of view, I believe that psychology is a science. I believe that all sciences start with an idea, and psychology follows that. I believe that in all science theories can be tested and proven, psychology also follows that. According to dictionary.com, science can be defined as "the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena". Psychology is empirical, requires experiments and explanations, so psychology, from my perspective, is definitely a science.
